Drinking More Water Can Help You Lose Weight
Our bodies need lots of water.
Did you know that over 66% of your body weight is nothing but water? It's remarkable!
Water also plays a vital role in weight control, and gives us a lot more benefits than we acknowledge.
A number of people are so involved in their daily activities that they don't realise that they are badly dehydrated. Often this can be felt, though we don't usually slow down enough to recognise it.
How does dehydration make you feel? Often you will feel listless, tired, lacking energy.
If you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter.
So how to lose weight drinking water?
Start your day with a glass of water. As soon as you wake up, gulp down a glass of cool water. It's a wonderful way to start your day and you only need a lesser quantity of your breakfast drink after that. A glass of water stimulates your digestive juices and sort of lubricates you on the inside. Sure - have your morning cup of tea - but have it after a glass of water. It is good for you.
Drink a glass of water before you start your meals. The water will occupy some space in your stomach so that you feel fuller without actually having to stuff yourself with food.
Have another glass of water during the meal. Again this is another way of making yourself full so that you can actually rise from the table eating less but feeling full just the same. Do not gulp it down, but take sips after each morsel. It will help the food to settle faster so that you get that feeling that you are full faster.
These simple steps will reduce the number of calories you take in during the day - it's as simple as drinking a little more water.
